The coat of arms of the oblast is an image of a red deer walking on a silver field with six-pointed antlers and black hooves, placed on a heraldic shield; the heraldic shield is crowned with a historical Russian crown and framed with golden oak leaves connected by a historical St. Andrew's ribbon in accordance with the attached original."
